Lithograph, 1939, Cole 34, edition 250. 14 3/4 x 10 7/8 in. Signed on the stone and signed in pencil, lower right. This is a fine impression in very good condition. The margins have been trimmed to 1/2" on the top and sides and 1" on the bottom. This iconic American print is illustrated and discussed in The American Scene, Prints from Hopper to Pollack (2008) by Stephen Coppel (see pages 136-139). The painting that relates to this lithograph is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

This work was published by Associated American Artists in New York. The painting of this subject is located at the Chazen Museum of Art at the University of Wisconsin. A preliminary drawing is at the Beach Museum of Kansas State University.
