Merry-go-Round Woodcut, 1914, small edition. .9 1/4 x 10 3/4 in. Signed and dated on the original support sheet, lower right. A brilliant impression on wove paper mounted to a support sheet (as is always the case). The print is trimmed along the borderline. The condition is fine. This stunning, early print was done the year that the artist moved from France to Provincetown, MA with her dear friend, Ada Gilmore. This print is a French subject which was certainly conceived of before she moved back to the United States. Her work was entirely printed in black and white. This is a very rare print. ON HOLD |

The Shipyard, (Provincetown) Woodcut, 1915, vary small edition. 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. The print is signed and dated in pencil just below the image. The print is titled on the verso at top with the original price of $10.
(Note: McMillen traditionally trimmed her prints to the image and attached them to a support sheet which she than signed, as is the case here.) This is a fine impression in fine condition. The print is rare. SOLD |
