Lithograph, circa 1932-33, Bassam 21, edition aboout 15-20. 15 1/4 x 20 3/4 in. Signed and titled in pencil. Here we have a fine impression with strong contrasts. The margins are full and the condition is fine apart from a minor thin spot in the upper margin edge away from the image. This was the gym of Max "Booboo" Hoff located in Philadelphia.

Lithograph, 1933, Bassam 30, edition unknown. 14 3/8 x 19 3/8 in. Signed on the stone, lower right. Signed, titled and numbered (21) in pencil. This is a fine impression printed on white wove paper. The margins are full. The condition is fine apart from a trace of an old hinge adhesive in the upper left corner of the margin. This important print was well-received when it was exhibited in New York and Chicago in 1933-34. It won the Logan prize at the Art Institute of Chicago (Century of Progress International Exhibition). "Center Ring" is illustrated on page 170 in American Prize Prints of the 20th Century by Albert Reese.

Lithograph, 1934, Bassam 49, edition unknown. 14 3/4 x 19 3/8 in. Signed on the stone, lower right. Signed, titled and numbered "18" in pencil. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is excellent apart from a minor handling wrinkle in the right margin not affecting the image. This exemplary work is illustrated on the cover of the catalogue raisonné of the artist's prints.

Lithograph, circa 1933, Bassam 33, edition unknown. 14 5/8 x 19 1/2 in. Signed on the stone, lower left. Signed and titled in pencil, and with the number "30" in pencil. This is a fine impression on off-white wove paper with the watermark RIVES. The margins are full and the condition is fine apart from a little rippling in the lower margin. This tour de force of figurative work was based on multiple sketches done at the Germantown Boys Club. This interest in the male nude is also evident in the prints of George Bellows, particularly, "The Shower-Bath" (Mason 45) and "River-Front" (Mason 168).
