Etching, 1915, Cortissoz/Clayton 49, edition unknown. 8 3/8 x 10 in. Signed in pencil. This is a fine, luminous impression of this exemplary American impressionist print. The margins are full. The condition is good apart from professionally reinforced splits along the plate mark on two sides, and, one repaired split from the upper right corner to the margin edge. The scene is the Bush- Holly House at Cos Cob, Ct. The model here is Miss Helen Burke. This structure was built in 1730 and is a National Historic Landmark. It was the center of activity for Connecticut's first Artist Colony.      SOLD
