Etching, drypoint and aquatint, 1878, Bourcard-Goodfriend 127 (v/VIII), edition unknown. 12 5/8 x 9 3/8 in. Signed and dated in the central plate, lower left. Signed with the artist's red owl stamp (Lugt 977) at bottom center. This is a fine impression printed on a sturdy laid paper. The margins are wide and probably full. This is acompelling and joyous record of the first Bastille Day celebration on June 30, 1878.       SOLD
