The colors are fresh. Full margins. This impression was exhibited at the Columbus Museum of Art in the 2006 exhibition American Impressionism: Variations on a theme. (It's illustrated on page 47 of the exhibition catalog.) This impression is also cited in the just published catalog raisonne. Provenance: Hirschl & Adler Galleries, New York.

Maxim studied with Blanche Lazzell in Provincetown, Massachusetts and this particular print was based on travels in France in 1930.
