Woodcut printed in black and green, 1967, Fern & O'Sullivan 500, edition 100. 32 x 21 1/4 in. Signed and titled in pencil. This is a fine impression with full margins. The condition is also fine. (This is an artist's proof apart from the formal edition and is so inscribed.) This is one of Baskin's best prints and the chiaroscuro approach is a clear tribute to Golzius, an artist he admired. This print is illustrated in American Color Woodcuts, Bounty from the Block, 1890s-1990s, published by the Elvehjem Museum of Art, 1993, (James Watrous and Andrew Stevens.)
