Fence in Winter
Woodcut printed in colors, 1911, small edition. 5 3/8 x 6 3/8 in. Signed and dated in pencil. A fine impression on thin Japanese paper. Trimmed just outside the image on three sides with more showing on the bottom. (This is not atypical with her work.) She studied with B.J.O. Nordfeldt in Chicago and won a bronze medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco.
