Couple Embracing
Etching, circa 1920, small edition. 7 1/8 x 4 3/8 in. Signed in pencil lower right. It's a fine, delicate impression printed in red-brown ink on Japanese paper. The margins appear to be untrimmed. The condition is excellent. (There's a tiny speck of printing ink to the right of the platemark at top.) Kramer is best known as an illustrator of children's books. She also did theatre designs. Her prints are outstanding and rare.
