Brooklyn Bridge Lithograph printed in colors, circa 1950, edition 12. 16 x 9 1/2 in. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a fine impression of this rare print. The margins are full and the condition is fine apart from slight toning along the edges of the sheet and a small spot of printer's ink to the right of the image. Freeman studied architecture at Columbia and he later took classes at the New York Academy of Design. New York proved to be the perfect inspiration for his printmaking skills. Most of his work consists of architectural scenes. $1,000 |

Manhattan Construction Lithograph, 1936, edition 50. 16 1/2 x 11 1/4 in. Signed, dated and titled in pencil. This is a fine impression; rich in contrasts. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. As with his print The Dynamo, Freeman achieves a precisionist-like vision here based on his time spent in New York. SOLD |
