A fine impression in good condition. The margins are trimmed notably at bottom thus lacking the printer's line with Mourlot's name. There's a repaired tear in the right margin just to the image. The margins are full and the condition is very good. There's minor soiling and foxing in the margins and a couple of tears at the sheet edges. The set of "Six Marines," of which this is plate six, was published by V.Mourlot, Paris, and his blindstamp is in the lower margin. $1,000 |

There's a tiny repaired split in the margin, lower right, and minor traces of discoloration here and there in the wide margins. This work was published by Mourlot, Paris, and bears their blindstamp, lower left. This print is typical of Isabey's remarkable skills as a draughtsman. A fine, luminous impression of this exceptional print. The margins are full. There's reside of an old adhesive at two places on the margin edges and three modest repaired splits at the top edge, all of which is fairly minor.
