This is a very good impression with full margins. The condition is very good apart from some staining in the margins and a small break in the paper, lower left. It's printed on AQUAFORTISTES laid paper and published by Cadart & Luquet.

Etching, 1862, Beraldi 5, Villet 3 (ii/VI); edition unknown. 9 1/4 x 12 3/8 in. Signed and dated in the plate, lower right. This is a superb, early impression before letters. The paper is a fairly heavy off-white laid paper without watermark and the margins are wide. Condition excellent. This is a beautifully inked impression of one of Lalanne's finest prints. An impression of this work is in the collection of the National Gallery, Washington, D.C.

Etching , 1874, Beraldi 118, Villet 105 (vii/VII); edition unknown. 12 1/2 x 7 1/8 in. Signed in the plate, lower right. This is a fine impression printed on white laid paper. The margins are wide. The condition is very good apart from a subtle stain in the lower left corner of the margin, well away from the image. In this state the plate was published by Cadart in "l'Illustration Nouvelle" (plate 299).
