This is a fine impresion printed on sturdy wove paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. This engaging work was published by Sagot, Paris, and bears their blindstamp.

Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1912, edition unknown. 11 1/4 x 15 3/8 in. Signed and dated in the plate and signed and dated in pencil. A fine proof impression (epreuve d'etat) in fine condition. The margins are wide and probably untrimmed. This is a nice example of Taquoy's inventive use of design and color.

Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1905, edition probably 100. 13 x 20 1/2 in. Signed and dated in the plate, lower left. Signed and dated in pencil, lower right. Inscribed "No. 23" in pencil. This is a superb, luminous impression with dynamic colors. The margins are full. The condition is very good other than for occasional soiling in the margins. This large print was published by Sagot, Paris, and bears their blindstamp in the lower right. Taquoy's work is discussed in, From Pissarro to Picasso, Color Etching in France (1992) by Cate & Grivel.

Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1904, edition probably about 100. 10 x 12 1/4 in. Signed and dated in the plate, lower left. Signed and dater in pencil. This is a fine impression of this charming print. The margins are probably full and the condition is also fine. Taquoy was a gifted etcher and his work is similar to that of Bernard Boutet de Monvel in both style and choice of subjects. He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne as well as the Salon de la Gravure Originale en Couleurs. His work is discussed and illustrated in, From Pissarro to Picasso, Color Etching in France (1992), by Phillip Dennis Cate and Marianne Grivel.

Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1907, edition probably 50-100. 10 5/8 x 18 7/8 in. Signed and dated in the plate, lower left. Signed, dated and numbered in pencil"No.38". This is a superb impression in very good condition. The margins are full with a deckle edge on all sides. There's a subtle trace of staining in the lower left margin corner and slight toning on the verso of the sheet. Taquoy lived and worked in Paris and exhibited at the Salon d'Automne from 1904 and also at the Salon des Indépendants from 1905. This exceptional, large work is illustrated on page 86 of From Pissarro to Picasso, Color Etching in France (1992) by Philip Dennis Cate and Marianne Grivel.
