Amsterdam Canal Scene Lithograph, 1933, edition 20. 12 3/4 x 18 1/2 in. Initialed on the stone lower right and signed on the stone with a printed signature. This is a fine impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. This impression was published by "Vereeinging tot Bevordering van Beeldende Kunsten" in 1933, apart from the pencil- signed edition of twenty impressions. This is one of van Dobbenburgh's great early prints and is hard to find. The number of impressions in this, the unsigned edition, is unknown. SOLD |
