Woodcut printed in colors, probably about 1920, edition unknown. 13 1/2 x 10 3/8 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. Inscribed "handprint No. 12," in pencil, lower left. This is a fine impression printed on a tan, fibrous handmade paper with full margins. The condition is very good. Berndt specialized in arts and crafts style, well-crafted woodcuts, with coastal scenes and pastoral landscapes among his his favorite subjects. This is a nice example of his work.       SOLD
