Etching and aquatint, 1948, Shaull / Elliott 21; edition 75. 7 7/8 x 12 3/8 in. Signed and titled in pencil. This is a very fine impression in fine condition. The margins are wide and probably full. One of his very best prints, "Taos" exemplifies the artist's remarkable command of the aquatint medium. Capps met Doel Reed in the early 1930s and he inspired Capps to make his first aquatint in 1933. He produced other Southwestern works and was active with the Prairie Printmakers.       SOLD
