Head of a Woman (Tete de Femme, also called Nelly Carriere) Lithograph, 1895, Delteil 18, Stein & Karshan 13; edition 100. 18 5/16 x 14 1/16 in. Signed on the stone and signed in pencil, lower right. The print is also numbered in the lower left and bears the blindstamp from L'Estampe Originale. The impression is fine and the condition is excellent. The sheet is full and untrimmed. This uncommon print is a great example of his work in lithography. SOLD |

Marguerite Carrière (Deuxième Planche) Lithograph printed from three stones, 1901, Delteil 43 (ii/II), edition 115. 16 7/8 x 13 3/8 in. Signed on the stone and signed and numbered in pencil, lower left. This is a fine, luminous impression printed on chine appliqué. The margins are full. The condition is fine apart from slight ripping in the outer margins. This impression is numbered from the edition of 10 which in the catalogue says an edition of 10 was printed on "japon." According to Delteil, there were also 5 impressions on "chine volant," and "sur hollande;" 50 impressions in black and 50 in bistre or sanguine. An impression of this stellar symbolist print is in the Deering collection at the Art Institute of Chicago. SOLD |
