Woodcut , 1938, edition unknown. 9 x 6 7/8 in. Signed, dated and titled in pencil. This is a fine impression in fine condition. The print is in great condition and is mounted at the top corners to the original support sheet. Jacobs is an obscure but very talented Chicago artist who studied at Hull-House and the Art Institute. He specialized in expressionist block prints and was active in the WPA program.
