Kirkpatrick was born in Dublin and studied at the South Kensington Academy of Art in London. She originally trained as a watercolor painter but block prints became her first love. For many years she lived at Cowes, Isle of Wight, and maintained a studio there.

This is a very fine, atmospheric impression showing the Thames at dusk. The margins are modest but this is most likely the full sheet as printed. Excellent condition.
