Wood engraving, circa 1937, edition 60. 10 1/2 x 6 in. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil. This is a superb impression printed on thin white Japanese paper. The condition is excellent and the margins are full. Landacre's nude studies are remarkable for their design and execution. His work is the gold standard for figurative as well as landscape wood engraving in America during the 1930s.

The margins appear to be full and the condition is excellent. This print was selected for exhibition at the Venice Biennale, 1938.

Wood engraving, circa 1934, edition probably 60. 10 1/4 x 7 1/2 in. Signed in the block and signed and titled in pencil. This is a superb impression printed on thin Japanese paper. The margins are wide and probably full. The condition is fine. This wonderful, rare work is rich in content with potent WPA era imagery of big business (a banker), the working man, leisure, women's rights, and in the lower left corner; a bomb and a snake, most likely a symbol of underlying anarchist thinking.

Impressions of this very appealing print are in the National Gallery in Washington, DC as well at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Wood engraving, 1933, edition 60 8 3/8 x 6 in. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil and with a pencil dedication below. This is a fine impression printed on Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This work was also published in an unsigned edition of 200 by the American Artists Group, New York.

Wood engraving, 1933-36, Lehman page 63, edition perhaps 200. 8 1/2 x 6 in. Signed in the block, lower center, initialed in the block, lower right, and dated in the block lower left. This is a superb impression on white wove paper with full margins. Excellent condition. This impression is signed in pencil but is not from the first numbered edition of sixty. In 1933, Landacre added his copyright symbol and this was for the edition of 150-200 for the American Artists Group print editions. These impressions are normally not signed in pencil. However, the artist would occasionally sign a few of these at a slightly extra cost. That is what we have here.
