Etching, drypoint and aquatint, 1885, Delteil / Cailac 62 (iv/IV), edition 50. 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 in. Not signed in the image. This is a fine impression from the only posthumous edition of 50 printed in 1920. (There were only 12 lifetime impressions.) The margins are full and the condition is excellent. The print bears the posthumous stamp (Lugt 613) and is numbered. Given the rarity of so many of Pissarro's lifetime editions, later printings are a welcome opportunity for collectors who enjoy his work.

Marché aux Légumes, à Pontoise (Vegetable Market, Pontoise)
Etching snd aquatint, 1891, Delteil/Cailac 97 (ii/II), edition 500. 10 x 8 in. Unsigned. This is a very good impression with wide margins. The condition is quite good apart from three very small spots of discoloration in the margins. This is from the edition of 500 which was published in the first edition of the Loys Delteil catalogue raisonné on Pissarro. The plate was steel faced for this 1923 printing.

Porteuses de Fagots (Women Carrying Bundles of Sticks)
Lithograph, 1896, Delteil/Cailac 153, edition 24. 9 x 11 3/4 in. Signed, numbered and titled in violet pencil. This is a superb, rich impression printed on chine appliqué. The margins are full and the condition is fine other than for two old hinges, verso, at top. This is one of Pissarro's largest and most beautiful lithographs. This work was published in 1896 for Les Temps Nouveaux and there was an additional unsigned "de luxe" printing of twenty impressions. This impression is from the earlier printing of twenty-four signed and numbered impressions, six of which were printed on chine appliqué. (There were also seven artist's proofs). Our impression is from the celebrated collection of Henri M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).

The Market a Pontoise (Marché à Pontoise)
Lithograph, circa 1895, Delteil/Cailac 147 (iii/III); edition 20. 12 1/8 x 8 15/16 in. Signed, titled and numbered "No 19 ep.def." in colored pencil. This is a superb impression printed on chine appliqué with probably the full margins. The condition is fine apart from a few spots of subtle foxing in the lower right margin away from the image. This is an exceptional print by the Pissarro and one of a few views of market scenes done in etching as well as lithography. Pontoise is located just north of Paris.

Lithograph, 1896, Delteil/Cailac 154 (v/V); edition 300. 9 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. Signed on the stone, lower left. This is a fine impression printed on chine appliqué for Les Temps Nouveau and printed by Jean Grave, Paris. The margins are full and the condition is very good apart from subtle foxing in the margins only. The early impressions from states one to four are proofs only and are so annotated. Les Temps Nouveau was an anarchist newspaper founded by Jean Grave in 1895.

Woman Picking Cabbages (Femme Cueillant des Choses)
Etching and drypoint, 1888, Delteil/Cailac 77 (ii/VII); edition 17. 4 x 2 3/8 in. Signed in pencil and inscribed "2e état - No. 2." The print is titled below by the artist. There's an authentication inscription on the verso, top, by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro, the artist's son. This is a fine impression of this extremely rare early state before the plate was overworked. The condition is fine apart from slight rippling on the outer edges of the sheet and a very subtle wrinkle in the top left corner margin. There were only 17 lifetime impressions of this print.
