Blooming Tree (Bluhender Baum) Woodcut, 1925, edition unknown. 31 1/4 x 17 1/4 in. Signed and titled in pencil; inscribed "handdruck." This is a fine impression printed on a fibrous Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. This is the artist's largest and best known print. Her editions were probably about 40-50 impressions. Reinberger and her family were friends with Josef Hoffmann, the important Austrian architect and designer. She specialized in blockprints and many of her works are in the Albertina, including this image. Other prints are currently available. Provenance: Private collection, Berlin. SOLD |

Four Figures, Facing Left Woodcut, circa 1920, edition probably about fifty. 15 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. Signed in pencil and inscribed "handdruck". A superb impression in fine condition. Full margins. Reinberger's extraordinary woodcuts grew from her family's friendship with Josef Hoffmann. Beautiful design, vision and craftsmanship come together in these Successionist era images. This print is exemplary of the unique art and design produced in Vienna in the early part of the 20th century.
