Jeune Fille Vue de Dos (Young Woman Seen from Behind) Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1906, de Ginestet & Pouillon E 155 (v/V), edition 50. 6 5/8 x 4 3/8 in. Signed and dated in the plate. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a fine, delicate impression as published by Sagot, Paris, with their blindstamp lower right. The paper is a white wove and the margins are full. The condition is excellent. The sitter for this charming print is Suzanne Duchamp. SOLD |

Le Petit Modele Drypoint and aquatint, 1904, DeGinestet & Pouillon E108; edition 50. 17 5/8 x 13 5/8 in. Signed in pencil. This is a fine impression printed with plate tone. The margins are full and the paper bears an ARCHES watermark. The condition is excellent. This early figurative study displays Villon's great command of both line and shading effects. Signed in the plate and signed in pencil, lower right. This impression is also numbered from the edition of fifty. A superb impression printed in green ink, the paper is an ARCHES watermarked laid paper with full margins. (The print was published by Sagot, Paris, and their blindstamp is in the lower right, see Lugt 2354). The condition is fine. This exquisite, large work epitomizes Villon's masterful style during his Belle Epoche period. SOLD |

Signed in the plate, lower left. Signed in pencil. This is a superb impression with vibrant colors. The margins are full and the condition is fine apart from just a slight suggestion of toning within an earlier mat opening. This work was published by Sagot, Paris and their blindstamp is located in the lower right corner margin. This marvelous early work is shown here printed with all the colors. SOLD |
