Lithograph, 1929, Singer Museum Retrospective (1999), # 75. edition 68. 15 x 9 1/8 in. Signed, dated and titled in pencil. Also, the edition is referenced in pencil (68). This is a fine impression with full margins. The condition is also very good. Lubbers was the only early 20th century Dutch artist who is best known for his New York City work. He was married there in 1922 and worked on mainly New York subjects between 1926-1932. His lithographs were well-received and he was also a gifted painter and draughtsman. In 1937 there was a retrospective of his work at Rockefeller Center and he is buried in New York State.
