Dutch, (b. 1961)

Woodcut printed in colors, 2025, edition 29. 14 1/4 x 7 3/4 in. Signed, dated, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a fine impression with the full margins. Excellent condition. Mt. Sunday is an isolated hill in the inland Canterbury region of New Zeeland's South Island. It was chosen as the location for the settlement of Edoras in the Lord of the Rings films. This print is actually a view looking down on the ground. The stone ground is full of minerals which makes it possible to see many plants and lichens.      $700
