White-line color woodcut, circa 1940, very small edition. 12 x 10 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb, luminous impression printed on cream Japanese paper. The margins are full. The condition is very good apart from faint toning within a previous mat opening. Cannon was born in Camden, New Jersey, and exhibited widely in east coast exhibitions. She was a founding member and first president of the American Color Print Society of Philadelphia.      SOLD
