The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This beautiful work was issued as Plate 1 of L'Album de Gustave Dore, as printed by Lemercier and published by Goupil, Paris (with their blindstamp, Lugt 1090.) Perseus, as seen in the upper left, is coming to the rescue.      SOLD
