Drypoint, 1928, Paff 278, edition 150. 13 3/4 x 11 5/8 in. Signed in pencil. Here we have a fine, luminous impression printed on off-white laid paper with a partial watermark "England". The margins are wide. The condition is very good other than minor rippling in the margins and a slight trace of old tape adhesive in the extreme right edge of the right margin. This large, exemplary work is a masterful example of Benson's painterly command of the drypoint medium.       SOLD
