Drypoint and aquatint printed in color, 1905, de Ginestet & Pouillon E96 (iii/III), edition 50 plus early proofs. 16 1/4 x 22 3/8 in. Signed in the plate and signed in pencil, lower right. This impression is also numbered from the edition of fifty. A superb impression printed in green ink, the paper is an ARCHES watermarked laid paper with full margins. (The print was published by Sagot, Paris, and their blindstamp is in the lower right, see Lugt 2354). The condition is fine. This exquisite, large work epitomizes Villon's masterful style during his Belle Epoche period.      SOLD
