Woodcut printed in colors, 1923, Chapman 11, edition 150. 12 3/4 x 8 3/4 in. Signed and titled in pencil. Also inscribed, "advance proof." This is a superb, early impression before the formal edition. The margins are somewhat narrow but most likely this is the full sheet as printed. (Inky block edges show around the perimeter of the margins which is typical.) The colors are superb on this impression and Entering the Port is one of two St. Tropez woodcuts by the artist.      SOLD
