Drypoint, 1923, Paff 217, edition 150. 10 3/4 x 13 3/4 in. Initialed and dated in the plate, lower left. Signed in pencil. This is a superb impression rich with drypoint burr. The margins are full. The condition is fine. The large work exemplifies Benson's command of the drypoint technique. As a gifted painter and watercolorist, he was able to translate his painterly brush skills to this difficult intaglio medium.       SOLD
