Woodcut printed in colors, possibly from 1926, edition unknown, perhaps 30-50 impressions. 8 5/8 x 13 in. Signed in pencil. This is a superb impression printed on Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. Kirkpatrick was born in Dublin and studied at the South Kensington Academy of Art in London. She originally trained as a watercolor painter but making woodcuts became her primary interest. For many years she lived at Cowes, Isle of Wright, and maintained a studio there.      SOLD
