Etching and engraving, 1936, Sasowsky 166 (iii/III). 8 x 9 7/8 in. Signed and titled in pencil and also inscribed "forty proofs". A superb impression with full margins. Very good condition apart from old hinges at top of sheet and very minor discoloration within the previous mat opening. The catalogue raisonne cites five impressions by White in the final state and it is doubtful that the full edition was ever printed. This is a very rare work.      SOLD
