Drypoint, 1914, Zandvoort 28 (ii/II), edition 26. 5 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. Signed and dated in pencil. Inscribed "2st" for the second state of two. The print is titled in the lower right corner probably by another hand. This is a superb impression of this early, uncommon print. The margins are full. The condition is fine apart from a faint suggestion of a mat line from an earlier mount. Schelhout's work is illustrated and discussed in Ackley's 2014 book, Holland on Paper in the Age of Art Nouveau, Pages 212-213. He was one of the very few Dutch cubist artists.      SOLD
