Drypoint, 1927, Subsequent to the Schwabe list in PCQ, edition unknown. 13 3/8 x 8 1/4 in. Signed in the plate, lower left. Signed in pencil. This is a fine, rich impression with full margins. Fine condition apart from old paper hinges at the two top corners, verso. Ex-collection: GN or NG, not in Lugt. Dodd studied at the Glasgow School of Art. He was an official war artist during WWI and was a trustee of the Tate Gallery from 1928-1935. Dodd's brother-in-law was Muirhead Bone.      SOLD
