Wood engraving, 1930, Boston Public Library 177, edition 75. 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. Signed and titled in pencil. There's a pencil dedication which reads, "For Jane Garrett, 1977." Here we have a fine, rich impression with full margins. The condition is fine apart from a band of discoloration vertically along the outer left hand margin, well away from the image.) This is one of several images which Leighton created for The Sea and the Jungle by H.M. Tomlinson.      SOLD
