Woodcut printed in colors, circa 1900-1908, edition unknown. 8 5/8 x 14 1/4 in. Signed in pencil. Here we have a fine atmospheric impression of this rare print. The margins are narrow and the condition is fine. Seaby studied printmaking at the Reading School of Art with Frank Morley Fletcher. He ultimately became a staff member at Reading and remained there for the rest of his career. We located one impression at the Victoria & Albert Museum and their records provided us with a date for this print. It's interesting to compare the two impressions: Ours is a dusk, early evening view and the V & A impression is a daylight study.      $1,200
