Woodcut printed in colors, 1920s, edition 100. 14 x 9 in. Initialed in the block lower right; signed in pencil lower right just below the image. This is a superb impression of this majestic woodcut. The margins are wide and probably full. The condition is very good. (There is a slight bit of discoloration showing from an old mat opening, but it is minor.) This is one of Seaby's finest prints and it's quite uncommon. The influence of Japanese printmaking on British graphic art during the 1920s-1930s is here very noticeable.      SOLD
