Etching, 1845, Guiffrey 69 (iii/III), edition unknown. 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 in. Signed in the plate and signed in pencil; also inscribed by Jacque "bon a tirer". This is a superb impression trimmed along or slightly within the platemark. Minor old adhesive spots at corners, verso, not visible from the front. This rare signed proof is from the collection of A. Moreau (Lugt 1900).      SOLD
