Woodcut printed in colors, 1899, edition not stated. 8 1/8 x 10 in. Signed in the block with the artist's monogram. Signed in pencil lower left. This is a fine impression in fine condition. The colors are fresh. The margins appear to be full. This is an outstanding, early work done in England. The importance of Fletcher and his work cannot be underestimated both in England and later in America. Among his students were B.J.O. Nordfeldt and Allen Seaby. This is not a common print.      SOLD
