Etching and aquatint, 1920s, edition probably about 50. 19 x 13 3/4 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb, luminous impression printed on Van Gelder laid paper. The margins are full. The condition is excellent. Harting produced several large and exquisite Dutch architectural scenes which certainly remind us the 17th century images done by painters such as Vermeer, Pieter de Hooch and others from the Golden Age. He worked in great detail and the etchings are quite remarkable.      $1,100
