Wood engraving, circa 1934, edition probably 60. 10 1/4 x 7 1/2 in. Signed in the block and signed and titled in pencil. This is a superb impression printed on thin Japanese paper. The margins are wide and probably full. The condition is fine. This wonderful, rare work is rich in content with potent WPA era imagery of big business (a banker), the working man, leisure, women's rights, and in the lower left corner; a bomb and a snake, most likely a symbol of underlying anarchist thinking.      SOLD
