Etching and drypoint, 1883, Wentworth 72, edition unknown. 15 3/4 x 7 1/2 in. Signed and dated in the plate. Signed in pencil, lower left, and with the artist's red stamp, lower right, inside the platemark. This is a superb, luminous impression of this stellar work. The margins are wide and probably full and the condition is fine apart from a modest paper loss at the top margin edge. This uncommon print relates to a series of pastels. So often, Tissot's etchings relate to specific paintings but such is not the case with "Le Dimanche Matin."      SOLD
