Wood engraving, 1936, Buckland Wright L119, edition 75 plus 12 artists proofs. 9 7/8 x 6 15/16 in. Signed, dated, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. This work was engraved for the Album of La Gravure Originale Belge, printed by Pichon. Our impression is numbered from an edition of 65 and the catalogue states 75 were printed. This exceptional work shows the artist at his best as a figurative artist. At the same time he was working with Hayter and doing abstract works in the Atelier 17 tradition.

This is a fine, rich impression with full margins. Excellent condition. The catalogue lists four trial proofs and four states. The total number of impressions printed is unknown.

Wood engraving, 1930, Buckland-Wright L56, edition of probably 60. 9 1/2 x 8 5/8 in. Signed in ink, lower right. This is a superb impression of this large work. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. Buckland-Wright was a master of the medium and this work is exemplary of his pre-Hayter/Altelier 17 style. (The catalogue states, "an edition of twenty and only ten prints were pulled from the block". However, we know this impression is from the edition of 50 impression for La Gravure Originale Belge (1930) of which the artist was a founding member. Hence, an edition of 60 is probably the case.)

Drypoint, 1932, Buckland-Wright M29, edition 25. 7 5/8 x 3 3/8 in. Initialed in the plate, lower left. Signed, dated, numbered and titled in pencil. This is a fine, rich impression printed on a sturdy, simili japon paper. The margins are full. The condition is fine apart from slight light toning within an earlier mat opening. Here Buckland-Wright depicts a woman stepping into the bath as viewed through the doorway. This rare print was printed by Brunel in Paris.
