Robert Lee's Workshop Etching and drypoint, 1905, Rinder 375, (iii/III); edition unknown. 11 3/4 x 8 3/4 in. Signed in the plate and signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb, luminous impression printed on thin Japanese paper. The margins measure about 3/8" to 1" and appear to be untrimmed. The condition is fine. This large and impressive work was etched just two years after Whistler's death in 1903. We can easily compare this image to Whistler's Limeburner (Kennedy 46), which was part of the celebrated Thames Set published much earlier. This rare Cameron print is illustrated on page 235 of Robert Getscher's, The Stamp of Whistler, published in 1977. D.Y. Cameron was a remarkable artist in his own right and this work is a fitting tribute to an artist he much admired. SOLD |

Souvenir d'Amsterdam Etching and drypoint, 1915, Rinder 460, (iv/IV), edition 60. 14 3/4 x 10 3/8 in. Signed in pencil lower right. This is a very fine impression printed on laid paper with a crown and shield watermark. The margins are full. There's a trace of discoloration from a old old mat line about 3/4" outside of the platemark. This large and memorable print is very Whistlerian in style and execution. Cameron's prints of Holland are uncommon and quite desirable. SOLD |

Souvenir d'Amsterdam Etching and drypoint, 1915-1930, Rinder 460 (iv/IV), edition 60. 14 3/4 x 10 3/8 in. Signed in the plate, upper left. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb impression printed on light cream laid paper without a watermark. The margins are somewhat narrow on the top and sides but this may well be the full sheet he printed on. The condition is fine apart from a repaired break in the upper right corner of the margin away from the image. This exemplary print is also titled by the artist in the lower margin and further states, in another hand, "Cameron's own collection." There's an unknown collectors mark (initials) on the previous mat which we have yet to identify. SOLD |

The Chimera of Amiens Etching with drypoint, 1910, Rinder 415 (v/VII), edition unknown. 9 5/8 x 7 1/4 in. Signed in the plate in the upper left corner. Signed in pencil below, lower right. This is a superb impression printed on off-white laid paper. The margins are probably full but the left side is narrow measuring 3/8". This memorable work was certainly inspired by Meryon's "Le Stryge" from 1853. Cameron visited France in 1910 following a trip to Egypt. A chimera is a fire breathing monster of Greek mythology and a combination of various parts of different animals. SOLD |
