Woodcut, 1928, edition unknown. 9 1/4 x 10 5/8 in. Signed and titled in pencil. Inscribed by the artist in the lower margin "St. Francis on Mount Verna." This impression inscribed in pencil, "#12." A fine impression printed on fibrous Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This print is illustrated in American Prize Prints of the 20th Century, American Artist Group, 1949. This print was also a First Purchase Prize, Library of Congress, 1949.
