Drypoint, 1944, Kraeft 93, edition 100. 8 1/4 x 11 5/8 in. Signed in pencil and inscribed "imp". Here we have a fine impression with full margins. The condition is very good apart from a faint mat line from an earlier mount. This is a scene near Union Square. The second state was done in 1978 with engraving added (see Kraeft 128).

This is an early, stellar New York image with a nice balance of modernism and careful observation. This plate did wear down a bit after awhile and not all of the impressions are this rich. Provenance: Hirschl & Adler, New York.

Drypoint and aquatint, 1934, Kraeft 45, edition 50 (100?) 6 1/8 x 10 in. Signed, dated and numbered "ed 100" in pencil. Here we have a fine impression of this great, early print. The margins are wide and the condition is excellent. According to the author, " On Christopher Street in New York, right across from the Hudson Theatre where "Cat's Paw" was showing." Note: This impression is numbered "ed 100" whereas the catalogue states "edition 50."

Engraving, 1941, Kraeft 84, edition 100. 5 x 9 in. Signed in pencil. This is a fine, crisp impression printed on sturdy white wove paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. Lewis describes this view as "across the street from my studio window." At the far right is the Empire State Building.

Drypoint and engraving, 1950, Kraeft 104, edition 100. 12 x 14 3/8 in. Signed in pencil. This is a fine impression with full margins. The condition is also fine apart from a very faint suggestion of toning within an earlier mat opening. The scene is the old Delmonico Hotel on East 14th Street in New York. Landeck had a studio there for many years. Provenance: M. Knoedler (with their label).

Drypoint, 1935, Kraeft 57, edition 100. 8 x 10 5/8 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is fine. In this classic study of a printmaking studio, Landeck here depicts his first atelier in Cornwall, CT. Shown on the wall in the upper right corner is his rare lithograph, View of New York, from 1932.

Drypoint and engraving, 1949, Kraeft 103, edition 100. 12 1/4 x 5 7/8 in. Signed, dated and numbered "ed 100" in pencil. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. Landeck states an edition of 90 and this impression suggests another ten were printed. This view was from the artist's studio in the Delmonico Building at 3 East 14th Street in New York. He resided there from 1942 to 1958.
