The condition is excellent apart from the original paper tape hinges at the top two corners. This endearing, early print shows the artist as the exceptional draughtsman that he was. "Bedtime," from 1937, is a similar lithograph of a mother holding her child.

This is a nice example of Soyer's great skills as a draughtsman. Impressions are located at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
