Etching, circa 1920, Harting 9, edition unknown. 25 x 18 1/2 in. Signed and titled in pencil. Also inscribed, "épreuve d'artiste." This is a superb impression of this monumental print. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. Harting was born in Indonesia, and later lived and worked in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Haarlem. He studied at the Rijksakademie with Pieter Dupont. He was a superb etcher of architectural scenes and his best work is exquisite.      SOLD
