Etching, 1911, Branches/Heijbroek E114 (i/V), Hubert E114 (i/III) 7 7/8 x 11 5/8 in. Signed in pencil lower right and inscribed "proefdruk." Inscribed in the image lower left, "1ste staat," and then there's another inscription which is probably "6 Febr 1911). (The catalogue states four proofs in the first state.) This lovely, rare print changes in the fourth state with the removal of the figures and a tree added on the left. The margins are full and the condition is fine. There's an unidentified collector's mark on the verso.      $1,400
